Sandy Kasin is an accomplished Small Business Administration (SBA) business / real estate lending specialist, with a strong understanding of the intent and viability of the SBA program. Sandy enjoys providing consultative solutions and loan products to clients and referral sources. He brings creativity, business acumen, and a broad range of experience to promote successful lending solutions and business relationships.
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
• Formed SBA / COMMERCIAL LOAN SOLUTIONS, an independent loan packager and placement specialist. Primary areas of interest are SBA 7a & 504 loans for business real estate, business acquisitions , medical practices and refinancing; conventional real estate commercial financing; USDA B & I; factoring; and franchise financing.
• Appointed Vice President, Bank of the West SBA Business Development Officer for NE, IA, MN, ND, SD. Provided guidance and education to Bank loan officers and branch managers throughout the Midwest/Great-Plains regions while submitting record numbers of qualified loan applications originated from both within and outside the Bank.
• Proposed and opened a SBA department at Foundation First Bank, a new community bank in Omaha. Responsible for loan production, origination, underwriting, loan committee write-ups, SBA submissions, closing, servicing, and secondary market sales. Obtained Bank and SBA approvals of over $8 million in SBA 7a, 504 and Express loans during 1st eight months of fiscal 2010 (thru May). This is the second highest total for Omaha area banks.
• Opened a Nebraska/Iowa/Kansas/Missouri Loan Production Office for Popular Small Business Capital, the SBA division of Banco Popular N. A.. Established strong relationships with strategic referring partners by providing extraordinary service and closing difficult loans. Awarded “Top Tier” status within the Company’s 55 Business Development Officers.
• Opened a Nebraska/Iowa Loan Production office for US Bank SBA Division. Created a market awareness of SBA lending where none previously existed, and achieved Division “Rising Star” status for loan volume growth of over $7 million in second year.
• Formed Goldman-Kasin Company, a vertically integrated real estate company that successfully executed development concepts, construction, finance, syndication, property management, sales and leasing activities. With an initial funding of $10,000, grew the Company to $40,000,000 of development projects under contract within five years. Notable projects include Time Magazine Residential Project of the Year, West Fairacres Village and the major renovation of the historic Redick Tower into a Radisson Hotel.
